WEIDNER LAW FIRM was formed due to our former law partner, Bill Oliver, being named Superior Court Judge to the Mountain Judicial Circuit by Governor Brian Kemp in December 2022. Prior to Bill’s elevation to the bench, OLIVER & WEIDNER had been formed on January 1, 2006 when Bill Oliver and Jim Weidner began practicing law together. 

Judge Bucky Woods, retired Chief Judge of the Superior Court for the Mountain Judicial Circuit, joined the firm in January 2010; and then former Congressman Doug Collins joined the firm in February 2021.

While Jim, Bucky and Doug miss Bill’s intelligence, compassion, sense of humor and presence in the office, they are looking forward to practicing in his court.
